Hard and not nice day to wirte you a letter... Maybe is better or maybe not... I miss you... In a really weird way... Like a... I don't know... I feel like a knife in my heart to make the idea easier... I have no news about you since a quite long time... Are you married now?... Are you in the same place?... I mean... Internet is supposed to make everything easier and better but here I am... In my bedroom... Wirting you another UNknown letter... And if I hear some songs I just think about you, about us... Why you are not here with me?... You should be something like my boyfriend or I don't know... I used to be your princess remember?... Without your words everything looks even worse... And, probably, I will not meet you... And we will not be a happy couple with 2 daughters, a house in front of the sea, and a dog... But, yeah, you have a piece of my heart and I still love you... ¿Que es una enciclopedia en línea?

Una enciclopedia en línea es quizás, una versión más actualizada y más renovadas de las antiguas enciclopedias con las que uno trabajaba cuando chico. Ahora tenemos la posibilidad de encontrar todo haciendo un clic y, por eso, deben ser tan famosas en el hoy en día.

¿Para que nos sirve una enciclopedia en línea?

Una enciclopedia en línea nos sirve para poder tener un acceso aún más libre a distintos puntos de vista sobre un mismo tema. Así como también es una ayuda cuando estamos trabajando en proyectos virtuales y no queremos perder el hilo del trabajo.

¿Qué es wikipedia?

Wikipedia es una enciclopedia libre plurilingüe basada en la tecnología wiki. Esta se escribe de forma colaborativa por voluntarios, permitiendo que la gran mayoría de los artículos sean modificados por cualquier persona con acceso mediante un navegador Web.

¿Cómo funciona wikipedia?

Existen tres características esenciales del proyecto Wikipedia que definen conjuntamente su función en la web:

1. Es una enciclopedia, entendida como soporte que permite la recopilación, el almacenamiento y la transmisión de la información de forma estructurada.

2. Es un wiki, por lo que, con pequeñas excepciones, puede ser editada por cualquiera.

3. Es de contenido abierto y utiliza la licencia GFDL.

¿Cómo son los aportes que llegan a wikipedia (aportes en conocimiento)?

En la edición en español cualquier persona tiene la posibilidad de crear un artículo nuevo y casi cualquier visitante puede editar el contenido, a excepción de los artículos que se encuentren protegidos. Sin embargo, en la inglesa los usuarios no registrados no pueden comenzar artículos desde cero. Wikipedia fue creada con la idea de que la colaboración entre usuarios por la mejora de un artículo durante un tiempo producirá textos de calidad, a semejanza de los proyectos de desarrollo de aplicaciones libres. Mantener un punto de vista neutral sin influencias políticas, es quizás el único requisito.

¿Que tipos de wikis existen?

Actualmente, el wiki más grande que existe es la versión en inglés de Wikipedia, seguida por varias otras versiones del proyecto. Los wikis ajenos a Wikipedia son mucho más pequeños, generalmente debido al hecho de ser mucho más especializados. Por ejemplo, es muy frecuente la creación de wikis para proveer de documentación a programas informáticos.

¿Cómo me puedo beneficiar yo y mis compañeros del uso y manejo de las wikis?

Creo que el principal beneficio es que en el uso de las wikis somos libres, pero de manera responsable, para colaborar con temas que nos interesen, lo cual nos da una gran capacidad creativa e intelectual como estudiantes. Y, por supuesto, si habla que la wiki más grande es Wikipedia en Inglés podemos ocupar el estudio de nuestro segundo idioma como una herramienta aún más grande.
